    The details that matter

    Build a quieter material palette.

    Work with undertones

Put your stone-look sample beside the actual wood, paint and fabrics planned for the room. Beige, gray and greige can shift noticeably in that company. For a connected floor and wall palette, compare samples together rather than relying on separate screen images. Look at several faces when natural variation is part of the collection.

Let the format set the rhythm

A larger format can make a surface feel more continuous, while a more visible joint layout creates its own pattern. Start with the dimensions of the room and the positions of openings. Your installer can work out which format and orientation give sensible cuts without losing the balance of the design.

    Separate appearance from performance

A surface that looks textured is not automatically appropriate for every floor or wet area. Use the exact product documentation to establish suitability. Record size, finish and product reference in your shortlist so the sample you approve, the material you order and the installer’s specification all refer to the same product.

    Quiet materials. Lasting character.

Stone-look porcelain draws on the visual qualities of natural stone, from soft mineral movement to more pronounced texture. It can bring a grounded feel to a residential room, a shared space or a commercial interior.

    Consider the complete surface

Examine tonal variation across multiple pieces, especially when selecting for a large floor. A sample helps with color and finish, while a layout and full-room reference help reveal how the pattern repeats.

    Design around the application

Matte appearance and slip performance are different considerations. For floors, wet areas and exterior spaces, request the specific product’s technical information rather than judging suitability by its visual texture.

For any project, confirm dimensions, thickness, finish, available quantities and installation requirements before ordering. Our team can help you identify the product information to review.
