Create a connected palette
A kitchen rarely stands alone. Think about how its surfaces relate to adjacent living areas, cabinetry and natural light. Porcelain can provide a visual connection through coordinated tones, finishes and patterns.
Specify the right slab for the detail
Countertops require products specifically approved for fabrication and worktop use. Thickness, edge details, cutouts, support and overhangs need to be resolved with the fabricator. Do not substitute a thin wall panel based on appearance alone.
Plan the finished composition
Bring together samples of cabinets, flooring, hardware and wall finishes. Review the full-slab design when movement or veining is important. Confirm how the chosen pattern will align across an island, splashback or vertical return.
Make the practical details part of the brief
Share the approximate layout, intended uses and installation timeline. Before ordering, confirm the material, quantity, stock position, fabrication scope and delivery requirements. Use a qualified professional for handling, cutting and installation.
