    The details that matter

    Make every wall work together.

    Choose your focal wall

Begin with the view from the doorway. The vanity wall, shower wall or space behind a freestanding tub can carry the main pattern. Sketch where mirrors, lights and fittings will sit so a strong vein is not accidentally hidden. Compare the rest of the palette against that focal surface to keep the room composed.

    Draw corners, niches and openings

Large panels make small decisions more visible. Agree on how outside corners will finish, where panel joins will fall and how the pattern will meet a niche or doorway. Give your installer the actual panel dimensions and fixture positions before the quantity is finalized. A simple elevation can resolve these questions early.

    Review each wet-area component

Treat wall panels, the shower floor, waterproofing and drainage as coordinated parts of the project. The same finish is not automatically suitable everywhere. Ask the installation professional to confirm the selected products and the complete assembly, and keep the manufacturer documents with the approved layout and order references.

    Design a more continuous space

Large-format porcelain can bring a generous visual scale to bathroom walls and surfaces. Fewer visual interruptions can help an interior feel composed, while expressive patterns can turn a single wall into the focal point.

A surface is part of a complete system

Porcelain tile or panels do not replace a properly specified waterproofing system. Substrates, waterproofing, drains, movement joints and installation materials must be selected for the exact wet-area assembly.

    Choose floor finishes with care

A finish suitable for a wall is not automatically suitable for a shower floor. Confirm the manufacturer’s approved use, slip-related data and the requirements of the room. Drainage and floor geometry also influence product selection.

    Think through edges and openings

Niches, corners, shower controls and other penetrations deserve attention before material is ordered. Discuss cuts and edge treatments with an installer experienced in the selected panel format.
